So I'm planning to be the DM of a pen and paper campaign but I don't have too many ideas for the Victorian setting the players wished for qvq
So if you have any ideas you might like to share with me, I'd really appreciate that!
Your ideas don't need to be historically accurate, actually we can also use Steampunk elements and such-
(You can really go wild here and just throw everything at me! You suddenly have a cool building in mind? Sure, tell me about it! An NPC you think suits the setting? More than welcome!
I'll meet with my brother tomorrow to flesh out the story and stuff but I'd appreciate some brainstorming here beforehand TvT

The victorian era is set under queen Victorias reign
At that time, the fashion was more directed toward simplicity and sobriety, although, with the important worldwide commerce between colonialist countries and colonies, it was not uncommon to see very rare fabrics and intricate details on the garnements
It was a period of discoveries, scientific improvement, new cultures, ect, thus why, in Europe, an international salon was often organised to expose rare object and new discoveries
Each country would have a sector dedicated to its territories, and it was the occasion to show the superiority of one colonialistic country
The key words of the victorian era is work, sobriety and anything exotic
Maybe try to search for buildings like the Glass Palace ( I think it's called like this ) which was one of the building hosting the exibitions
I saw someone talking about theater and yes, it was a big thing at the time :)
So big in fact that people used to dress better than if they were to meet royalty
It was something for the high society only

•If I remember correctly, Theater was pretty big in the Victorian era, and they remodlled a ton of Theaters, like the globe Theater, which could be a pretty cool location^^
