

Double Ended Iowa class BBG Version 1
By early 1959 a new preliminary design of a double-ended BBG conversion scheme was developed with Talos missile launchers forward and aft, Tartar launchers to port and starboard aft of the remaining 5"/38 gun turrets. Regulus missile storage was envisioned of 4 missiles and two launchers with flagship facilities included.Based on this and a single sketch drawing of the accompany double ended design I've made this drawing.
