I noticed that a lot of popular artists here stay consistent with their color pallete and art style, I mean.. HOW? Mine's literally a mess

Changing your artstyle a lot is actually good. Good artists don't have a set style but a flair. No matter what style they work in, you can feel and see that they made it. A lot of artists have a formula that they repeat over and over again, essentially making the same drawing every time. That will stifle your growth. Just make a lot of different things or else you'll only learn one thing.

I've gotten a bit more consistent once I found ways I like to draw and paint. But also found colors I really enjoy.

•Inconsistency is part of growing as an artist. Find what works and stick with it. Experiment yes but have one area be your string suit and build on that if you want consistency

•References and pictures help A TON! Save them somewhere and have them around when you draw. Do studies regularly and experiment with what you like and what just don't feel right

•I feel the answer to the question is, you only find yourself when you see yourself getting comfortable with your art. When you’ve finally crossed out all those goals on your list as an artist. Once you find yourself, and are happy with your work, you will find consistency in your work.

Lmaooo my feed looks too colourful and messy. I think people think of a colour palette beforehand and then maybe just,, idk,, filter their work with overlays?? I’m not sure

•Wormmm. I understand hehe. My friends stick to their fav colours which are like black, red and cyan so they are consistent. I only own a handful of marker colours so that why I’m sometimes consistent oop

•MOOD Literally my partner is the same way. They use mostly red and warm colors and of course use red and pink overlays and I’m like HOW

for artstyle i always refer to my previous drawings and try my best to copy the style

•idk if mine is consistent but i honestly just stick to what i like ;w; like i dont like using greens and i paint what im interested in. cant force myself to do cell shading and such bc i have a tendency to overwork it
