Anyone have any good YA book recommendations? Preferably ones that aren't fantasy or romance but a little bit of romance is okay.

A few that I've read and liked are: "Patron Saints of Nothing" by Randy Ribay
"The Outsiders" by SE Hinton
"Dear Martin" and "Dear Justyce" by Nic Stone
And anything Angie Thomas!

'The Outside' by Ada Hoffman is a scifi with a queer autistic MC who is a scientist that breaks space-time. (idk if its YA but it's still good)
'A Mango-shaped Space' by Wendy Mass is about a middle schooler figuring out that she has synesthesia while dealing with grief.
'A Long Way Down' by Jason Reynolds is written in verse and takes place in an elevator.
'Scythe' by Neal Shusterman is really good. It takes place in a world were death has been 'cured' so they have scythes who glean the population to keep things stable.
