💫🌑🔥🖤 Villains of Artfol, it's been over two years since we first went absolutely bonkers together. Now it's time we expand our evil alliances!! 💫🌑🔥🖤 💥For the first time since it began, the Villainversed Community is welcoming new villains, heroes, vigilantes, and general nuisances alike!! And it looks like Bloodmoon is here to usher in the new recruits~! 💥The idea is to design a character according to our prompt! From this we can scout for new members and friends for the characters of Villainversed! This OC can be as good or evil as you see fit. Maybe they're a hero who's corrupt! Maybe they're a villain with a heart of gold! Maybe they're a big bad that seeks no alliances. In the spirit of the original challenges by @whyweloseoursocks , they might even be your very own villainsona/herosona!! 💥A pre-made application for your character has been provided in challenge (with links to download if you'd prefer that to screenshots) but it is not mandatory to submit your design! If you work better on a blank canvas/prefer to illustrate, then that is acceptable! That being said, if you elect to not utilize the character app, we would love to hear about your OC in the description!! 💥To help protect the community from trolls and drama, there will be a small additional form after you drop a design to help us get to know you as an artist!! Ángel Damon Rivera, Daemon, or my wife left me Tails (entry for the Villain OC challenge)

So, here's my villain.

Honestly I had a vague idea of what I wanted, but I'm proud of his design even if the drawing itself could be better to me.

Some backstory.

Ángel was born to a noble Spanish family, however impoverished it was. Even with his poor origins, he always knew the value of money and wished to have enough to live comfortably, with all the luxury he could ever want to have.

He had a penchant for computers early on, and so when Bitcoin became a thing in 2008, he invested a good chunk of his savings on it, just to see if it ever took off. Needless to say, it really did. It would've been enough, but coming from his humble-but-not-really origins, he wished more and more.

And so his own greed attracted Mammon, prince of greed who through his dreams communicated with Ángel. He would be granted demonic abilities, but in exchange he would need to pay up with a good chunk of his income. At first, he was hesitant, but soon enough he had the realization that with that kind of newfound powers, he could probably bring his bloodline to a new golden age. So he eventually accepted the deal.

Nowadays, he lives off from crypto investments, finance and life advice courses he sells to his economically desperate, mainly male audience, and of course, YouTube videos, but he also performs all kinds of heists, from stealing from businesses to robbing the national bank like it's just another weekend. In truth, he enjoys the chaotic and unpredictable nature of his reality more than he likes cash. As long as he has a swiss bank account worth billions Mammon can leech off, his powers will be there for him to make the world a slightly worse place.

The only person able to temporarily pull him away from that kind of lifestyle was his now ex María, who eventually broke things off with him due to his issues properly controlling emotions and selfish nature. He knows no amount of money will bring her back, and so he's now angrier than ever, willing to show the middle finger to all of society and having fun while doing it.Apr 11, 2023
