I think she is, I fully support Tumblr’s “Weekend At Bernies” theory on the whole thing.
Not wanting to announce her death right before a HUGE holiday? Wanting to delay the inevitable financial losses that’ll occur during that national mourning time? It all makes too much sense. I would be surprised if she’s actually still alive right now, not like in shock, but definitely would be like, “Wait, so you were telling the truth?”

I gotta admit to joking she's dead, but I'm not 100% certain. I do think she's VISIBLY unwell in some way though, which is why she's not appearing in public. Like, potentially going through a round of chemo sick (which is why they know she'll be back around February).
.... It's just funnier to say she's already dead and they're covering it up, lol.
