The Tree That Moves by KoroteaX

This is in fact another Demon!Shane concept. Here's the idea:

Ryan S. Bergara was a college student and amateur paranormal investigator in southern California. He bought an expensive camera in April and later that fall, he went out into the woods in hopes of finding the ghosts of murder victims and the answers to the rampant disappearances in the area. He spent two whole hours in the rain with no luck, when on camera, it appears he captured two trees moving like legs in the foggy distance. He didn't notice. The next several days worth of footage are frantic shots of a tree-sized silhouette in the sky, humanoid with no arms and a broken horn. The supposed demon eventually spotted him. But it was only interested in his camera, which was stolen and bitten into pieces. The rest of the footage was found on Ryan's phone. The demon did not appear malicious, a bit stupid if anything. Voiceover recordings of Ryan were also found on the phone detailing his theories about the demon being a human. Eventually, Ryan is taken to a cave to escape police looking for him, as he was reported missing. The footage cuts out for a day, only to reveal Ryan trapped somewhere in a tight hollow space made of grey wood. He was covered in roots and standing in the shattered pieces of his old camera, luckily the memory card still intact. He frustratedly rants, lighting a match, struggling to move, and eventually pans the camera upwards to show what appears to be a corpse dangling above him, roots through the mouth and eyes with fluids dripping onto Ryan, surrounded by formations that look like ribs. The cadaver appeared to be a white male wearing a flannel shirt, and has yet to be identified. The last minute of footage is completely black, muffled crying can be heard. He was found dead a week later having been missing for a month, stuffed into an oddly shaped tree trunk. He died of starvation, but under suspicious circumstances. His case has yet to be solved.Sep 12, 2021
