Both works fine i guess but the spiral ones are better for me since i could have more comfort

It's the solid spine for me, I tend to always damage my sketchbook with dirt that's in my bag and such so I would prefer the solid spine haha

spiral spines are so much more practical. if you want a solid spine you have to get pricier ones so the pages don’t fall out but that’s not an issue with spiral spines

I use spiral rn but I'm thinking I might get a solid next time because I think thy look nicer and you can do spreads better and now I use A5 size sketch books it's less annoying to have to have it lay open

Spiral. Whenever I get a solid one, they tend to break and pages fall out because of overuse. Spiral ones just last longer in my experience

Solid ones look sm nicer and fancier but gotta choose spirals. Makes it was easier to paint, can take pages in and out easil and lies flat

Solid spine because you can make nice spreads if you want. I also find that with spiral books the spiral might come out and that’s annoying.
