Married at Crystalia
Best played with: www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvU0EQ… (You probably have to loop. It's an unfinished demo and it will forever stay that way. I am mad and disappointed about it.) Or... play this I guess... I've made a pun in the fake Crystal Story CD cover after all. www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgh68S…D and I finally got married. The photo was taken on July 24, 2022. It is the best day of my life.
The first time we met is about 2015. I couldn't make the date clear but I've assumed it's during that year. I was enamored by his pretty crystal eyes, scales, and his positive attitude. Best of all, he's a dragon boy. Probably the best kind of animal-hybrid men. I'm feeling so warm when I huddle next to him. Unfortunately, as years passed, we are forced to split ways shortly after as I moved on to other things... that I've later lost interest in.
I've met up out with pretty nice characters like Jacqui Briggs and Young Cricket before. Even though Cricket is a pretty friendly guy, he doesn't hang out with me much as he's always busy training to hang out with a girl, even his actual partner. I got left with no choice but to wander off on my own. The same problem applies to Jacqui Briggs, who's now engaged with Takeda and mostly busy with Special Forces stuff and partying with Cassie.
One day, while I was wondering what to do, I decided to revisit Crystalia to meet up with an old friend aka someone who I severely missed so much. When I’ve returned back in the royal road of Crystalia, Lina leaped towards me and hugged me while Mari is excited to see me and Kaz grinned heavily. D on the other hand cries while hugging me tightly after Lina is finished with her turn. He is sure happy to see me again after about 3 lost years. Guilt about that has taken over me that time. His team bring me along during their assigned sidequests, kicking monster butt and hunting for resources and gold for forging and upgrading weapons.
Many hours later, D's Evoblade and gear are at the maximum level they can possibly reach and I am proud of that achievement. I wanted to move on again, but I feel bad about leaving D behind for long periods of time. It’s even worse as many many other people besides his friends and the citizens of Crystalia who viewed them as heroes forgot about them as time passes. My heart sinks every time I think about it and D’s eyes glimmer with tears and his friends have sad looks. So... I decided to stay with D and be on his side for the rest of my life. I even rented a house in Crystalia and joined Mercenary Inc. (although like D's invite it's also against my will. Dammit, Tristam.)
Our love is growing so strong as we fight and go out during several events together including a Crystalia parade and an expensive eat-out (not just the King’s chicken). During our royal dinner, D and I both agreed to get married while I proposed to him.
Crystalia has celebrated the happiest time of our lives. The rest of D's team shed tears of joy as we waltz through the walkway with the applauding crowd between us and gave each other a great big kiss.
A true story... If only it was real... besides gameplay in Crystal Story II. :') I actually maxed D's gear and weapons in a save file I modified to replay the story in hard mode since there is surprisngly no option to do so somehow. I've even overpowered Z with my newly overtrained dragon boy. <3 We are like a couple there. No offense to the other party members. Lina, Mari, Kaz, I love you all too.
I’ve actually finished this back in August 20, but I’m saving it for September 30m, which is my birthday because it's so perfectly well-timed for it. It's what my ideal world would be like...
No dystopian after the Dargons became no longer a threat to the world and the rest of the days is nothing but peace and quiet. Nothing eventful ever happened ever again...
Z (though I can sympathy with him) is knocked out and trapped in the Abyss and Rita's futures plans is just having a peaceful time from her evildoings.
I also swear I would love to learn Dark Magic through the rest of my life to make D come to life...Jul 3, 2023
