artists that do commissions: do you do commissions for merch/profit? for example, if a customer comes to you asking to design their band Tshirts. how do you determine how to price this since they will be profiting off of it? should this cost more than a regular price? would it be best to just stick to commissions for personal use only? Taking percentage of profits is a good idea, but what I generally see, is that artists take "commercial fee" when art is used to gain profit. Usually I see price being doubled or even tripled, depending on what its going to be used for.
I would reccomend to look at other artist's TOS, and check how they deal with it.
Also, if you're new to commissions I would reccomend starting with personal use only, until you feel comfortable doing commission work. Sometimes doing commissions can really drain you physically and emotionally, and finding perfect way of work can take some time.

•Have them sign a contract that states you get a percentage of their profit for each purchase. What percentage is completely up to you, though I wouldn't go under 30% if I were you
