Sunken Culture, Sinking Sun
The first project I choose to share here is emblematic for my artistic program and depth:Aside my love for and specialization on drawing cars, intricate landscapes and existing clothing and accessories, elements in this piece like the historical Maya city of Tulum and the broader cultural frame of Mexico are meant to show my interest in different cultures, their geographies and histories, which I like to express creatively
Since last year I have been inspired by a friend from university to include more cultural and historical layers and references in my art than I have done before, and I‘m honestly surprised I hadn‘t figure this out by myself as I‘m a history student myself!
