Demon ShamisenAfter listening to Japanese lofi hiphop music, it gave me a marvelous oc idea, and began with this weapon as its first concept. I thank the competition for helping me motivate myself for new content!

Behold, the heavy shamisen that holds a Oni Demon within it!

Short Story:
The demon was sealed inside by the owner of the weapon who happens to be a vanquisher of demons, or A. K. A. Yokai Hunter.

Functions:
The shamisen has two modes. First being the standard shamisen, who holds the demon in place with a talisman and chains wrapped around it. It allows the demons power to weaken extremely, only capable of speech in this mode. The shamisen works fine like any other normal instrument in this mode, except you'll have an annoying demon blabbering and whining about how you haven't cleaned the instrument yet.
The second mode is where things get metal. Once the talisman and chains are removed, the demon is allowed to unleash its power. As long as the other talismans are around, it cannot roam freely still. Basically this is merely a 20-50% of its power. Sorry folks, Yall gotta have to wait for the final soon.
Anyways, this form allows the shamisen to become a giant mace, with protruding horns and a black aura surrounding it. Abilities it can do in this state is:
° Shriek
° Black/Red Mist
° Sound Force
° Oni mask companion summon
And that's about it as a first concept! Hope you all liked this. I'll soon get to design the character who will be responsible for the existences of this weapon. Note: She smells like incense
