Lore dump:
His kind are called Guardian Angels, but that's not what they are, they have been mislabeled and have not bothered to fix the misunderstanding. Just like the “demons” (at some point I will find a better word for what they are, as this have nothing to do with gods or devils) they are interested in the human soul. Demons use souls as smth valuable, tradable, a currency, while the featherpeople use them as an extra "spice" to their cuisine. They are not dependent on it as main food (didn't want a vampire vibe), but more an extra sweet feelgood boost, it can almost look like a little addiction. So not all angels meddle with souls, but some do. The reason they have been labeled as guardian angles is bc they do actually try to save your ass sometimes in different ways, and have sometimes been seen (idk how that works yet, but hey). The reason is that the older the soul (age), the more potent and better it gets.Dec 10, 2025
