Everholt || Childhood Treasures

While I’m sick, I thought I would share some art from previous weeks! This is from a new sketchbook of mine, where I’m allowing myself to just enjoy the process for what it is, and dare to do some storytelling.

This one showcases Elizabetha and Kjell as children, from our original story «Everholt» that I’m co-writing with @mieran ! Due to some trauma, Elizabetha became even more reclusive around the age of 9… but Kjell never gave up on her. So he became a treasured friend of hers, and one of the few joys in a troublesome life. You can see her father in the doorway here, too, grateful that there is someone there for his daughter. ;u;
