Same drawing, different palettes 💫
Here it is!! The challenge!!
This is just to practice with colors and have fun, no winners or deadlines
Rules:
-You have to draw something with your usual color palette
-Then do at least one other version, using a different palette (i did 4 but you do as many as you want)
- ⚠️ the colors still have to looks the same btw! For example, on mine the character has white hair on all the drawings, but i used orange, light blue, grey and white (or at least light colors still have to look light ect but you can totally go with a black & white palette if you want)
-would be better if you post the usual one + the other versions on the same image so we can easily compare :))
The whole point is to get better with colors and at using different kind of palettes, for different mood and ambiances ect
Some clarifications:
-you can totally use filters gradient maps ect
-if you can't or dont want to copy the same drawings (for traditional artists for example), you can do different drawings but of the same thing/character/object/background ect
If you don't know what kind of palette to try, here is a little inspiration list:
-warm
-cool
-pastel
-dark
-muted
-neon
I also like palettes with one main colors, like, there is a lot of different colors but you can tell what is the main one
Also if you like a palette from a media/artist that u like maybe it's time to try to understand why the colors look like this and do something inspired by it 👁👁
If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
