How do you guys pep yourself up when you're feeling like the project you're working on feels pointless?

I been kinda just hoping around doing other stuff bc I just feel like there's no point continuing my vn rn, and I don't wanna stop since I care a lot about this story. But I'm just feeling demotivated...

I take a break from it or focus on another piece, I would usually draw something that interests me and would make me happier drawing, so at this moment I would be drawing either Melanie Martinez or Princess Peach! I suggest taking breaks and seeing what you don’t like about it and changing it so you do, but don’t overwork yourself and compare yourself 🤭‼️💕
I agree with Novamorphex98 on having a goal and taking breaks. In addition to that, I think the key is to take the break and let yourself take said break without any guilt whatsoever. Don't think about the project and if you do, don't make yourself feel bad. It's always when I'm thinking about other things or letting myself rest without duty/obligation that ideas for my story come to mind and then I'm back to working on it again. Don't expect ideas to come just because you're taking a break, either. That's you still engaging and thinking about the thing you're "supposed" to be doing.
I honestly tend to drop it ? If I find myself thinking it's even slightly boring, I move on bc my medium is webcomic and the competition is really fierce. It's important to me that I'm completely absorbed in and satisfied with what I'm doing, and that it doesn't feel boring or pointless to me
think about the likes and comments and rubbing revenge in people's stupid faces.
You need to have a goal established for a project. If there is no goal, it will seem pointless. Try to question yourself. What is the project for? What is it about? What is the end goal of it? What does it need to get there?

Unless you're an improviser, the best solution overall is, ironically, to procrastinate/take breaks. Burnouts punch the motivation outta yea even for a passion project. It's normal to happen, we're human.

Taking a step back lets you explore more the world (virtualy) and find new ideas, inspiring you to implement it on your work and develop it from there.
