Happy Birthday A2

Happy belated Birthday to my dearest waifu, A2! Her birthday was on the 20th of May, but only found out a day later in my local time. I of, course can't go without doing a belated fanart to celebrate For those who don't know, I love A2 and she is my favourite character in Nier Automata. Despite being tsundere presented, she is one of the best girls because she is very strong and resilient, given how her traumatic past shaped her from being timid to brave Her wild and rebellious nature builds a lot of depth in her character growth!

This was my second attempt in drawing this piece since I screwed up the proportion on the first take. I noticed I slightly messed up the anatomy of A2's face after the lineart. I need to get better at drawing faces on third quarter view. I actually completed this drawing last night but decided to take photos of it today to get the natural sunny light Looking on the brightside, I'm absolutely impressed with the outcome of the toning and shading on A2's uniform ️ I experimented with different tones of the greyscale markers. I used a slightly faded purple marker to touch up the contrast on her skin and uniform.
