I think it’s because that kind of feature can easily be misused for “gore harassment” (where they’d replace a harmless image with some disturbing thing like roadkill or something, users harassing others with gorey images has been an issue on here previously) & art thieves getting rid of the evidence that they stole the art by just replacing the image in the post is why we don’t have that feature on here.
