Watched Raya And The Last Dragon last night with the fam last night, we all loved it 
I liked how the proportions were more realistic, the eyes weren’t huge and the noses weren’t tiny like in Frozen, as an example.

Thought it was a fun movie and the design was fantastic. Agree with you about the character design, more real but still disney-esque.
The environments really popped for me. River boat, neon boat town, vast wasteland, island city, and more - all great ideas.
