The Guardian of the Souls of Barn Owls
Back to traditional with this very special piece!I started this illustration about 2-3 years ago, and back then I though it was finished, but I wasn't quite happy with it so I kept it forgotten in a binder.
A few months ago I found it again and thought it could be improved a lot, so I got back to it. I cropped it a bit because the composition wasn't very good (it pained me a lot to cut out a couple owls I really liked and which took hours), I darkened A LOT the background and the whole piece in general to the darkest tones I could reach, and I polished details everywhere, since her head piece and the owls were still a bit sketchy and not very clean.
The result is this, and bow I truly like it! Its an A4, like most of my big illustrations, and I have in my shop same size prints that come with the short tale I wrote for this character!
