Water lilies
Waterlilies, the flowers full of faithIn the ripple, the greenery bathe,
With the center, made of gold
Crafted beautifully by God.
We went rowing, my sweetheart and I
I plucked a waterlily and gifted to her,
Saying, "You’re full of faith.”
She smiled as her cheeks glowed a beautiful shade of scarlet.
Waterlilies, the flowers made of purity
Their wonderful petals mirroring majesty,
Drifting on the cold water
