The right reasons

So I’m not the type of person to get real preachy on people BUT I do feel the need to speak what’s on my heart.

So a quick run into Walmart today, turned into a nightmare as I probably ran into every person I wasn’t comfortable talking with. (I won’t bore you with the details)

What should have taken 15 minutes basically took 45 and I was ready to leave.

However, at one point this little elderly lady asked me if I would grab her favorite cereal that was on the top shelf.

And so I did, and honestly…that felt good!!

So as I got back to my car I thought…was all that worth it? And remembering the joy on her face, I was like , “Yes, yes it was.”

I believe Jesus would have done it all over again for us if he had to, beaten, ridiculed, spit upon, and hated…

Just to make a way for us to go to heaven and be with him.

Obviously, what Jesus did is way more noble than a trip to Walmart. But can you imagine if Satan asked Jesus, “Was it all worth it?”

I can see him reply, “Yes, yes it was.”
