Bruh the skilll!!! One time my school choir did a little thing with a cappella groups where they would give us an performance and then we would give them a performance.
The women a cappella group was made up of 10 women they sang “Coloring outside the lines” by MisterWives, Something big by Shawn Mendes, and Years and years by King. For each song a different person would be the lead/main voice while the others would do a separate part, the first girl she was wearing a striped dress her voice was sweet, light, cheerful, and I’m 90% sure she was a soprano. The second girl had glasses and her voice was kinda raspy, impactful, and I think she was either an alto or a second soprano. The third girl was a beat boxer for the second song and her voice was expressive, lot of runs, and I think she’s a soprano.
For the men a cappella group they sang only 1 song but unlike the other group multiple people were singing lines while others would then take over. They sang a million dreams from the greatest showman. There was 6 of them and they said that their were 3 baritones, 2 bass, and 1 tenor. So since 3/6 were the main voices so 1 was a baritone, bass, and tenor while the other 3 were the vocals to support them. Their performance was very calm compared to the women’s group it sounded very classical not much movement.

Yes it does. I feel like Rockafella, Pentatonix, and the Pitch Perfect franchise were most people's first exposure to the genre.
