"OVERFLOW"
In "OVERFLOW," Reginaldo Modesto invites the viewer on an introspective journey, exploring the vulnerability and strength inherent in the human condition. In this surreal work, a cracked egg symbolizes the opening to pain and the surrender of our best to the universe. The canvas, measuring 24 cm x 30 cm, executed in oil, captures the essence of the artist's 3rd solo exhibition, "Interior," which seeks to unravel the depths of the soul and the ability to overflow with the most beautiful within us.Through expressive brushstrokes and a carefully selected color palette, "OVERFLOW" evokes human fragility and resilience, inviting reflection on our ability to open ourselves to the world, even in the face of pain. The spiraling form that emerges from the cracked egg represents creativity, imagination, and the expansion of consciousness, while the floating golden sphere symbolizes the sun, moon, or an unknown celestial object.
