Then vs NowIs the improvement good for 4 years?
Ever since I have started digital, my art has gone through multiple phases, artstyles after artstyles, experimenting, loving and hating my art, and after four years, I would still say, I'm still not where I want to reach.

In 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdown, since everything turned online, I decided to try out digital. I was inspired by (and partly jealous of) one of my friends, who is an amazing artist whose level I aspire to reach. She was the reason I started digital.

Around 2022-2023, my art journey came to an abrupt stop by the load of studies and a kinda worsening mental health. For almost a year, I quit art, except for maybe a few sketches on paper.

I came back to digital art by the end of 2023 only to find my skills partially deteriorated. By the end of April this year, I started posting my works online, hoping to find a little support in the community of artists. I started posting my works on the IbisPaint platform which I use to create my works. When I received appreciation for my art, it made me feel valued and it urged me to draw more.

Since May, I have created over a hundred works, which have been crucial in my art journey. Posting helps me keep the motivation up, and every like, every comment, urges me to draw more and to improve, so as to keep my work up to the expectations of the public.

This is very long- but I just wanted to share my journey with all of you, and thank you so much for taking your time to view my art or like it, that's what keeps up my spirit ❤️

Your improvement is great ! Congrats for not giving up, it definetly payed off ! Though be sure not to stress yourself too much with keeping your work up to the public’s expectations, since what matters more in the end is that you’re having fun creating for yourself : )
you improved sm!! your art looks super soft now with the colour palette and thinner line art, but i do like the previous version as well though!! she's so cute in either of the art styles <33
