I don't know why but suddenly a few people have started to say they like everything that I do so much, but I have NEVER seen them comment or even just like any of my stuff?? But like. NEVER. Never to the pint I wasn't even aware they were following me?? Maybe some aren't?? And honestly I don't care anymore about what their intentions are or if I'm overthinking. Honestly I feel like sometimes people don't have energy to comment and they just re post drawings in hopes that it will get artist some more attention 
(or at least I do that djsksk sometimes just the idea of interacting w people makes me really tired so yk) but I totally understand that it may seem confusing and maybe in some situations people are actually not telling the truth for some reason

Oh yeah I get that with instagram. When big accounts follow me or comment or like a post I always assume they didn't even look at it and only want me to follow them back. I see other artists sending screenshots of someone following them and being like "omg look 
" and I'm like "who's that?" And they say "idk but they have x thousand followers." And generally, if someone follows me without having liked or commented on any of my posts, I remove them. I don't want any ghost followers who don't interact with my posts. I used to care a lot about how many followers I had there, but now it doesn't matter, as long as they're genuine.

Well prolly some people are just more layed back and don't like interaction... Oor they might not be using this app as much so they don't see your posts and stuffs. Also there might be people who stumble across one of your posts and like it so they decide to say smth nice but that doesn't mean they'll be into everything you make, it's just preferences. I'd suggest if you want your followers to interact more with you to somehow encourage them, like ask questions or do challenges or ask for critique, it's up to you. Ig I'd tell you to try and not take this so seriously if it bothers you this much cause it might discourage you a lot.. hope you find a way to be more pleased with your community (• ▽ •;)

•Idk this may not be the best place to say this, but I feel like a lot of artists might relate to something like this. I have seen a few also feeling like they were being lied to by people online 24/7. It's just really sad to feel like most of the compliments you receive are lies? I feel bad for them. And also for me hadhfdbdna

•The fact that every time I voice out how bad I feel and how I always think everyone is lying to me, someone comes and tells me to calm down because I'm just overthinking doesn't make it any better :( man I just want my feelings to be acknowledged by people, not treated as something minor and a result of "overthinking" :(
