This is my version and isnt exactly canon to Solarball well parts of it is, of course so I guess this be basically my own au? I don’t know but in short is a short storyline that aligns and ties with the original just more drama.

“... I don’t know what you're talking about...”

Mercury eyes knowing full well, raising an eyebrow at Venus's attempt not to make it obvious and shaking his head slightly.

“... oooh ho don’t act like it isn’t obvious who this is about! got you all mixed up in the head after her death…and all of that to simply take your anger out on me! Just because I’m the SMALLEST PLANET! Well, I have had it! With your nonsense! And all your bullying….”


Venus looked away. “Shut up…you can talk stuff about me but don’t you bring…-..tch ….” His voice getting agitated, his voice unable to say her name just thinking about it, just made Venus's core all in wack, he put a hand on his head.

But Mercury kept talking, letting out his frustration because he was tired of Venus, tired of Venus aways getting his victory in making a joke out of him.


“Your anger and bitterness are all because of the past 4.5 billion years! You haven’t gotten over the fact that Theia never CHOSE YOU! Never gave you any thought to being anything more! How ironic the name ‘Venus’ is related to someone who can love, yet you can’t seem to get any ounce of it!” Mercury points at Venus, almost accusing, his wings flaring out, finally spitting bittersweet honesty into Venus's face, tired of being compared consistently to Pluto and being made fun of by the whole rocky planet group, how they laughed at his insecurities, especially from Venus who encourages it more , who’d insult Mercury, simply to ease the wanting of having control, which Venus certainly didn’t have by himself.

Having to deal with him constantly next to his orbit.

“... what do you know…about Theia…?” Venus says quietly, his voice lowered; his eyes don’t blink. He is staring directly at Mercury, his fist clenched, teeth gritted against his bottom teeth, his chest rising heavily.

“... don’t like being the smallest?…I’ll show you how to be a mere pebble instead! You little sh$t…( A quiet laugh rose from his throat as he spoke, his voice rougher than it was before)..a pebble getting too close to my Roche limit turns into dust particles the moment it gets near ..” Venus got awfully close up, before grasping Mercury by his white shirt collar, quickly picking him up like he was a doll. Mercury flared, but the gravity that Venus was forcing on him was crushing and wasn't going to let go.


“ WOAH!.. woah h-hey..!”

Mercury's wings lowered, then trying to flare up as a way to protect himself. The moment after Mercury spoke, Venus punched Mercury, and Mercury fell back harshly onto the floor, his vision dizzy and for a moment he almost coward himself like he always has done until he instead try to get back up just for Venus to make sure that was impossible, getting on top of Mercury, his right hand grasp around Mercury's neck intentionally firmly pressing his fingers tips down onto Mercury neck. Venus was breathing hard, Mercury opened an eye, he was gasping his eyes panic his hands scrambling to do anything to hit or push Venus off. Venus's expression was a mixture of anger, yet behind those eyes, there was despair of not being able to overcome this thing within his rocky core

“..venus!”
Mercury try to yell in some way yet that took more effort causing Mercury throat to tighten as it was becoming increasingly painful as Venus digged his nails
“Don’t you DARE… you don’t have a RIGHT to say her name!”
Venus pulled his left arm his fist up ready to do something he probably would regret.

“You know this can’t keep happening?” Jupiter says his tone almost fatherly but also highly serious


“..I wasn’t thinking straight ..”

“..that’s shouldn’t be your excuse Venus..I know you’ve two had your differences at one point you guys never acted like this, I’ll give you two options to ether apologize or to simply take a time to think before acting..”


Venus didn’t say much looking at noting special, he closed his eyes along his orbit
“..I’m sorry Mercury…you are right about everything… absolutely everything ”
