I’ve been thinking about streaming my art! Does any one have tips regarding art streams?Apr 18, 2021

Hiyas I stream art sometimes and mod for a lot of arts streams for a few years. Mostly I say go for it. It can be a bit rough sometimes and starting out can be a wasteland without prior connections. If you’re talking with voice, make sure to keep chatting as much as you can (with breaks of course) it really helps for newcomers to jump into conversations even if it’s something as simple as what you ate that day. If you’re typing in chat keep a similar attitude though focus mode is understandable sometimes on either one. And do the art you want is also important as it’s most enjoyable to watch someone enjoying their art. Get rid of any troublesome trolls or overall rude people if you’re streaming on a place that has chat (I’m not sure the specifics but I’m used to twitch and little bit about picarto) . it may be slow at first and I probably said obvious things but they really do help in the long run. I know a lot of great art streamers and they do best doing what they love as it really shows. Viewers love self care a lot too and it’s overall good for oneself so make sure to hydrate and stretch as well from time to time as it’s very easy to forget while live. Timers are really great for that.

•It may be that you just tell stories about what’s happened to your or someone you know if you wanna talk during your streams to make it interesting
