two hour-capped photo study-- trying to push myself to grow faster, and how to do that = work with elements I usually don't (such as men, blurred backgrounds, dark colors).I worried about whether I was breaking my art "style" by doing this but honestly, whatever I draw is part of my style and there's no use holding myself back. you can still tell I drew this piece. that's good enough for me.
who needs consistency and an aesthetic feed anyways?

Beautiful piece! I am envious of how people block out colors in their paintings (such as this piece you did). Is there a specific artist you followed or studied under to paint in the style that you do? Or do you leave the original underneath and pull colors and paint on top?
