Taylor Swift: evermore
Hello guys and welcome back to another Taylor Swift in animal crossing style,a tribute I did with all her eras for her Eras tour!!The almost last on her list,her 9th studio album,evermore,or the album alot of people tend to forget!(it's a running joke alongside the fandom dont worry people actually recognize it and it's a fire album!)
This is the sister album,or the continuation,of folklore.If folklore is the cottagecore of spring and summer in the folklorian woods,evermore is the cottagecore of the autumn and winter in yule woods.
The album centers around themes of love,as the predecent album,bur has a twist to it- almost all of these somehow go through a state that resembles hibernation,and everything is kind of sad but magical.The first song ,Willow,is a direct continuation to cardigan and it's references and Taylor said herself that these albums are connected,and that characters from folklore and evermore met and are connected(betty,james,inez and dorothea all went to the same school,in a small town).
The album it's also about jelousy,rememberence,grief and longevity,exactly how a winter is.Evermore is a great closer song and shows that too.Marjorie is another amazing song,but it's a sad one because it's about Taylor's mom i'm not going to comment about it,but all I can say is that listening to it with a dead grandmother hits different...
The colors are orange and champagne colors that represent energy and comfort,exactly how evermore is,a warm album for the cold days.
The Easter egg here is the woods themselves ,which represent the yule forests Taylor sings about and are omnipresent in her songs(presicely willow,tis the damn season,gold rush,ivy and evermore)and of course throughout the whole album.
