Inktober 2024 (Day 23): Multitasking
Every bandmate has their own main task to contribute to the overall band. Usually, it's performing their own musical instrument of choice.But sometimes bandmates will take on other tasks at the same time, which are often necessary to keep things running smoothly in the long run.
Sometimes, it's being the composer that writes the tunes, or the one in charge of finances, or the one who specializes in the wardrobe and accessories, or even the public relations person who always ready for any sudden interviews.
These guys certainly have it nailed down.
As much as I love how this turned out, why I do I always make these daily drawings harder for myself? This took much longer than I intended!
This is actually loosely based on an old jazz band that I've been listening to lately, The Modern Jazz Quartet, whose bandmates assumed similar duties as in this picture. It's not surprising the group lasted almost 40 years!Oct 24, 2024
