Mail carrier
This is my character! She doesn’t have a name yet but I’m struggling with her design. She’s an artist in a magical land that had fallen out of love with making art. She also works as a mail carrier transporting mail from the different islands that rise from the sea. I don’t want advice on how to improve my art style but it would be great if anyone had advice on her design! I feel as though her love for art is not being portrayed effectively through this design. (Also it would be great if anyone has a good name recommendation) (sorry that the cropping is so scuffed!!)May 21, 2021#oc

I love her design and your sort of simple but effective style. Idk why but the name Maddie jumped out at me.

•LOVE the silhouette and I'm obsessed with those puffy sleeves. Though right now she looks like a regular mailperson (apart from the sleeves, I LOVE THE SLEEVES). Maybe there can be some tools on how she carries out her job? considering how different it may be to mail things around islands that rise from the sea. sounds more adventurous (to me). For her fallen out of art part i can only think of random paint stains or like half done diy shoe designs that she gave up half way. it can be hidden tho if its something she doesnt want to think about anymore
