How much do you depend on your references?
I rely way too much on mine and I struggle to draw a bust when only the head is in the reference

For me it depends, when it comes to drawing simple things like headshots and or fantasy like dragons I usually don’t use many or any at all. If I’m drawing more full body/real animal such as a cat I’ll take references.

lol I need to learn to actually kick myself into not being too stubborn to use them more.

I frequently forget what collar bones look like and ALWAYS have to look up extra reference for those.
I agree with @brass that using multiple references is a great idea. I usually make a separate file that's just a collage of the references I need for a certain drawing so I have them all in one place. You can also take your own pictures or use free programs like Daz Studio or Magic Poser if you can't find something exactly like what you need.
Please know, though, that you're not less of an artist or something for using or relying on them. The old renaissance masters did, too, with camera obscura.

I love using pinterest for my references. Also, for me it takes a couple times for me to get the anatomy right, it doesn't happen right on the spot. I also feel like it will come with practice.

•I would try using multiple refs to draw one thing, that was it is not just translating what you see but actually interpreting and understanding it
