I know who you are.
The flesh you bore
lets me see right through
The thick skinned host
hearts all soft within.
If it takes a sword
to pierce through that heart
then I would rather flee.
My sword guides me to
protect what is mine
and what will be loved.
To touch your heart with
my bare hands,
tender under care,
hard under nails.
Tell me what is true,
what is it you need,
tell me your whole world;
I'd love to witness
the endeavors I hear.
I will not need my sword.
