Fellow artists, do you guys ever feel frustrated because your artstyle and mediums differ and it dosent allow you to get recognition in platforms like Insta? Where consistency is a key for sucess in insta. I am feeling a bit conflicted atm

yes all the time, but i’m blaming instagrams because it hates artists, my work is doing much better here so don’t stress about insta!

•Girl anything insta-related is 10 times out of 10 instagram's fault. It's not even an image sharing platform anymore. Go figure!

•I.... gave up on being consistent. Id rather my mental health and art not feeling like a chore over it. I cant turn myself into a robot just so i can get recognition. Though tht doesnt mean i dont envy those who do receive them; thus now i try to focus more on wht i like abt their style and incorp in my own art.
Srsly just do it at yr own pace. Dont sacrifice yr mental health over it. Slow and steady wins the race right?

•Hi! I am on IG too and have been relatively consistent in style and posting but I do not find the algorithm helping much at all.. Most of the time I have 0 hashtag reach on 1st day and less than 100 after 1 week... And getting shadow banned every so often so I don't think it is your issue..
