•Wingless:
- I would definitely give Laura feathery wings, she's so fluffy it just makes sense.
Winged:
- Ooh loosing his wings would basically render Kyle mute or at least limit his audible range severely (think alien cicadas)
- Mari would be devastated. Flying is his main method of transportation, plus he likes to be a drama queen every now and then so loosing his flashy bat wings privileges would ruin that for him as well
- Cepulra wouldn't care much. Her fins are more of an inconvenience than anything (I'm not cheating, you're cheating: manta ray fins are basically wings)

•Not having wings wouldn't really affect Light Speed nor Speedbreaker, since their wings are mostly for the aesthetic, lol.
I think Neron would have either fairy or butterfly wings.
Ting Ting would have fairy wings.
Jack Nero would have bald Eagle wings because he's American.
Lender probably some tech/futuristic wings.
Valentine would have the same wings as an avión común (a bird, idk the name in english)

•Oooh ok so I have a character who lost his wings – Leolyn, he’s half fairy so had fairy wings, and he lost them very painfully while in captivity so it impacts him later mostly due to his back being wounded and then scarred for life and the fact he was publicly de-winged as a form of torture and humiliation would also impact him psychologically. The type of wings he had was more special and showed his royal blood so that’s also lost to him (even though his family no longer runs the throne, but he was born as crown prince) and for the more emotional and sense of identity part, his wings is one of the things he got from his mother’s side and the relationship with his father is bad/complicated to put it lightly so think he would struggle with loosing the thing that appearance-wise connects him more to his mother.
While loosing the ability to fly might not make much difference bc he would still be able to walk so maybe take him longer to get places and others would fly from him (maybe without thinking) it would just get time to get used to and there are other non-winged characters in his world so he wouldn’t be the only one without wings and they also have dragons they can fly instead, but emotionally and psychologically it would impact him a lot. And probably some chronic pain.

Will - they would have to literally be his arms. Will is one of those characters who is based in hard sci-fi and in all flying vertebrates their wings are their forearms. Will would probably have pterodactyl-like wings because those are the earliest vertebrate wings (and sharks are the earliest true vertebrates).
Sicarius - keeping in with his predatory bug theming he'd probably have huge dragonfly wings. Lucky bastard gets to keep his arms free. Bugs have separate wings from arms.
Phoebe - white draconic wings, shimmering in all the colors when the sun catches them. Also gets to keep her arms.
Nimbus - he has and doesn't have wings. Like he has two forms. His canon wings are bird wings (owl). If he didn't have his owl form...tbh not much would change it's kind of just there to be cool. If he was stuck in owl form...a lot would change plotwise. He'd instead be trying to train Sicarius as a bird.
Tobias, who has wings: he would be a normal mage without his wings. Lol.

I wanna say it would be a big deal to them if they didn't have their wings, though they don't really use them a lot in daily life. But they're more than tools to fly, they're also used to express emotion in a way

John: Fairy wings, he's got to me some wood fairy energy, very dedicated to his craft, extremely cute in his flower and leaf outfits.
Juniper: Either same as John or dragon wings, protective of his treasures, strong and fire resistant.
Kyle: With no wings, he would be able to reach his back from the side again, but he probs would be dead, caught after being pursued by a mount of angry people.
Xavier: Eagle or angel wings, he's got the savior energy in him, he would patrol from the skies like some kind of super hero or transport care packages. Even overextend himself and have some accident falling asleep midfly.
Brett: BUTTERF-- Butterfly wings, because he's fancy like that
