I’m never spending a fucking cent at Best Buy, TOTK still hasn’t arrived. I’m loosing my godamn mind because they literally say on the website “can be delivered next day” WELL IF THATS THE CASE SEND MY FUCKING PREORDER NOW. Listen I bought it this way because I was getting another rly expensive thing and I was a little iffy on the price of totk. This way I was just grouping it into that sum which then makes it not too bad in my mind. Also because my parents get annoyed at me spending my money on games because taxes make them expensive as hell. I hate my countries stupid taxes btw, it’s so godamn dumb, i don’t even know why we have to pay extra for crap. And it’s a LOT extra, anything in the higher 100s always gets an extra 100$ added. It’s that bad.
But after the stupid security issue delay and now just the fucking game not showing up on the day it was supposed to, I wish I just sucked up the judgment and bought it separate. Plus idk if I can cancel and get a refund at this point, it’s hard to explain this kind of stuff to them since it’s on one of their Best Buy accounts so they control it.
I’ll say it one more time, fuck Best Buy. I’m only ever buying games digital or at Walmart now after this bullshit, it’s 2023 why the hell is this taking so long for a piece of plastic YOU HAVE IN STOCK IN STORES RIGHT NOW.
Sorry rant over, I’m just pissed off at missing out on this game everyone’s playing rn, it’s like a huge party where all your friends are at but they never invited you. I splurge on one thing because hate spending money and of course it gets screwed tf up. I’ve been waiting for this game for years because BOTW is one of my all time favs. Everyone has been saying it’s even better than botw, there’s so much you can do and explore and the story is apparently really awesome too (botw storyline was a little basic ngl). The game just means a lot to me. It def defined my late childhood and early teens.
I might figure out emulation today, I want to play silent hill. That could help me waiting. Though I feel like I’m in the town rn (idk what silent hill is like I have played 2 minuetes of the first one on an online emulator that’s it lmao)May 18, 2023
