emotions practice!

What is the Gingerbread House? my newest project. here's a very short info:

Where: Czech Republic, fake town in the northern part of the country
When: roughly 1996
What: crime, international gangs, drugs, corruption, prostitution and other illegal activities

Few words about the characters, if you wanna know more about them, don't hesitate to ask in the comments!

Van Nguyen – Vietnamese but born and raised in Czechoslovakia/Czechia. is trying to graduate from high school but due to difficulties seeks out "easy" ways to make money.

Fjolla Dibra – Albanian, was kidnapped and prostituted back home and then sent to Czechia. Tries to protect her and her brother's safety.

Dhimitër Dibra – Fjolla's brother, joined the Albanian mafia to get to his sister and save her. Eventually gets in debt and is forced to do dirty jobs.

Iris – real name Irina Bojko, after the fall of the USSR her ex entangled her in a Russian criminal gang. She left Russia and started working in Czechia.

Gera – real name Georgij Vorobjov, former inmate, after release got into the same criminal gang as Iris and does the same job: gets rid of untrustworthy people.

Jevrem Nikolić – originally a Serbian financial advisor who worked with a gang from Yugoslavia but eventually started his own business. Professionally evades taxes and launders money.

Šárka Marečková – Czech police officer, tries to uncover the connections between a brutal murder, drug dealers and the fact that the higher ups in the police are too eager to cover the whole thing up.

Standa – full name Stanislava Šrámková, formerly a teacher and a scientist who lost her job, she starts making and selling drugs as her main source of income. The central figure of the story.
