From the corpse came the butterflies. The moon’s light flickered behind the shadows of their dark wings, only to extinguish as the rabble obscured its entirety. Then came the water, which drowned out the fire. Peeled back the light to reveal the final reincarnation. To moult away immortality. To bring death to rebirth.Hello! I’m late, as usual. Thanks for all of the prompts this Halloween! I was really excited to figure out how to combine all of them into a cohesive painting. Did I do it?
