I had so much fun with this challenge and I learned a lot about some of the traditional clothing in Fryslân which was really cool!

The character at the top is representing Fryslân (Friesland) which is a ethnic minority in the Netherlands, Germany, and a small bit of Norway. We're mostly in the Netherlands though :) She's in the middle of polsstokspringen (wrist-stick jumping) which is the method of using a long pole to cross canals and other bodies of water. It's actually a sport as well, called polsstokverspringen (wrist-stick long jumping)!
