Hello! Long time no see! I hope everyone is doing well in this very hectic time of the year
Here is a sneak peak of what I’m working on for my final project for this semester
I had originally planned on doing it with watercolour but decided against it due to time constraints and lack of practice.
The border isn’t done but I plan on leaving it like this for now I think… to save time but idk

It looks great! I really like the artistic rendition of the sun.
I think the border looks nice like this. What might elevate it a bit is adding just a small amount of light-dark contrast, like adding faint highlights on the edges of the 'raised' parts around the middle and top (I'd leave the bottom in shadow).
For the dark contrast, it might be enough to make the straight part of the border, beneath all the artsy details, just a few shades darker than the rest (easiest to do by making a shadow layer).
