I answer simply but honestly.
"Good, I'm excited for x"
"A little tired, I didn't sleep well last night"
"I've been better, but I'm trying my best today"
I never understood the point of lying when someone asks "how are you". Obviously you don't have to give them every detail of your life, but why lie?

I’m not usually good but I don’t want people to worry about me

I just go “good” because I don’t wanna get into my life problems with people I barely know ngl

My default answer is: "I'm doing pretty good for the most part, how are you?". This can segway into more detail if the person is interested XD I'm usually pretty honest with how I feel unless I think I'm about to cry or something. Then I'll just say I'm good and move on LOL

•Kinda the same thing but I do it to me Mum cause she knows how I be. Complete strangers I just say I be chilling or I’m fine. Close friends I usually reply with “ well, it all started when I was born cue monologue
