Horse eye

I was taking pictures of horses a few weeks ago, and when looking back at them I noticed one with such detailed reflections in its eye which made me want to draw it.

Focusing on specific areas of a subject, such as eyes, ears etc., can be a great way of improving your ability to get accurate proportions and colours. I recommend picking an area that you feel you struggle the most in and do some drawings of those. You aren't drawing the whole subject which makes it less time consuming. You can also focus on drawing that area from different angles.May 26, 2022
