A bit of an odd question, but how do y'all keep track of what art you've posted and where? 
All of my art socials are kinda messy rn in the sense that some pieces don't get posted to certain ones (or I've just forgotten lmao) so I'm looking for a way to help keep track of where I've posted things.May 17, 2023

I draw and if I feel like I post the drawing somewhere. For now it's just Instagram and Artfol, so I manage to remember automatically, more or less, where I posted what. I am considering starting on more platforms, and at that point I will probably need some more systematic managing. I think I will have each drawing on my computer, and then a chart with all the image names and the platorm names, on which I note down what I posted where, and probably when too. I used to have meme pages on Insta (I still have them but I am not posting right now), in that case I just had all my memes on my phone and I deleted them from my phone after posting them, and later I moved all my memes on my computer in two separated folders: "posted" and "to post", and every day posted one meme and moved it from one folder to the other, while new memes I made where added to the "to post" folder. Anyway for many platforms it's not a problem repeating posts. I have noticed that several big artists on Instagram post drawings that they already posted months ago. The fact is, they need to keep feeding the algorithm as well as the expectations of their following. Followers usually like the specific style and subjects of an artist, and stop following if there is too much variety (= a few things they like mixed with a lot of things they don't like). So an artist on Insta, if they want success, is a bit limited in their experimentation and progress. But they have to post a lot. And their followers usually just give a look quickly, they don't analyse every detail, and they can't remember precisely all the images they see, especially if the images are little variations of the same subject (eg. girl with a cat, girl with two cats, girl with a dog, girl playing with cats, girl sleeping with a cat, girl feeding cats, girls taking pictures of a cat, girl petting cats,... Maybe the girl is even always the same OC).

Been trying to figure this out in the last weeks. Right now I'm trying a spreadsheet. I note down some identificative words and add date and url of the post under a section dedicated to each social media.
It takes a bit to set up, but generates quite a visual result. Say you want to post something here and don't know what, you can check the spreadsheet and choose from the pieces with the Artfol section still empty, or post a fully new piece and add it to the spreadsheet to know it's yet to be seen anywhere else :)
I also add other info of interest, like people related to the piece I might want to mention when posting, or what's NSFW for any reason... It helps a deal with memory.
Included a calendar section too, one for each social, and I color the days I post.
