Soaring
"Soaring"-
WHAAAA full piece of my AeroWing Eclectus [she/they]! This is all traditional believe it or not! I did Leccy on her own, on a piece of sketch paper, and similar to the Peacemaker piece I did a painted background (gouache, I think) and just glued her on top and cropped it down. I really liked this piece, the RISD admissions counselor didn't but I'm not applying to RISD anymore so B)
This peice also took me a billion years, I was working on the coloring like back in July and just. Couldn't get myself to work on it because I didn't like how hard it was to blend the greens. But it looks so cool in the end I am stunned at how resistant I was to finish it. I especially like the motion in her basket! Leccy was designed by LunarFenrir and she's based off a green bee-eater.
