Cleome!!

First post of 2023 let’s goooo
Here’s my character for Hero Time! Her name is Cleome, but she goes by “Sparkler” when she’s out doing hero stuff. She has the ability to manipulate pure energy into (mostly) solid shapes. Because it’s literally pure energy she has to wear gloves to hold anything she makes or it’ll burn her. You can see in the umbrella drawing that the rain evaporates and turns into steam when it hits the energy umbrella (also her hair is dangerously close to catching on fire there

Personality-wise, she has a strong moral compass and is very justice-driven. But don’t get me wrong, she’s not a complete goody-two-shoes; she’ll deliver justice however she sees fit, which just so happens to follow the rules. Creativity is not her strong point, which is why her costume is just kind of basic (the one on the very right) and her hero name is just “Sparkler”

.This uncreativity is one of her weak points because her power is very reliant on her imagination to create objects. If she was more creative, she could use her ability in different ways, but for now she sticks with very basic everyday items. But who knows, maybe she’ll meet new people who can influence her to have an actual sense of style and cooler name
