I wish I would’ve fully learnt the features of the programme before I started drawing digitally because features like liquify and clipping mask are time saving and amazing

That sketching means drawing basic shapes first to get the proportions right and THEN doing things like draw seperate body parts and stuff. I used to like, draw the head and then the upper body and then the legs and THEN I traced that again because I didn't understand how sketching works

I wish i knew what to study (anatomy/color/perspective) cuz i just drew characters all the ding dong day and now i suffer for it by playing catch up .m.

I’d wished that I studied color while I practiced my line art cause now I think I have good line art but horrible coloring skills. I also wished I’d used references more often and actually studied them. They are your best friends
