Ok, I'm gonna wait on the zombie apocalypse challenge, but I'm wanting to do some other challenge! Soooooooooo
What do you think of drawing a villain/antagonist/monster based on the things you hate the most? Things like snakes, sharp teeth, dolls, the color yellow, things that gross or creep you out(obviously don't draw something that would make you truly uncomfortable, like a phobia)
BUT most importantly, the things you hate to draw the most!! It'll be a cool way to get some practice in on things you don't like drawing, and an interesting way for us to learn about things you don't like!
So what do you think about that?Jan 9, 2022

I added an upside-down horse in a one-shot TTRPG story I've been thinking of so thanks for the creative challenge.

Broccoli monster. Hate is perhaps a bit strong of an emotion to tap into when making art. It's not a fun emotion to hold and invest in and have reminders of.
I could tap into creepy/spooky/bizarre stuff, I do sometimes, but I'm not in that mood, really. I like the idea of the challenge but in my art it's mostly time for comfy cute stuff and not horror vibes or antagonists, really, right now.
The things you hate to - draw - the most... It would be a horse.
An evil bad bad evil bad evil bad horse. A sceming evil horse. A villain antagonist monster horse. A regular horse. A horse. Horse. Nightmare horse. Nahh. It's not visually pleasing.
The way you describe the idea, it's fun to think of, but I can't get over the negativity I insert into it and wouldn't choose it as a starting point of thinking of something that I want to make and share and look at later when going through my stuff.
It's not a doomed idea. If I had the energy to make actual sketches I'd probably eventually end up somewhere interesting but I've got a lil queue of stuff that I want to draw when I have the time, instead of what is off-putting to me so, no, naaaah.

•It would be a giant, sentient amalgamation of hands and feet and architecture. 0-0 this would indeed be my nightmare. But in all seriousness, this sounds like an awesome idea
