Tovenaar Altwidus the Tortle 1/2
This was so fantastically fun to draw I had a great time. I was looking at dnd races for ideas for this challenge and I saw Tortle and thought it sounded fun (and it was)Tovenaar Altwidus (Tovenaar in Dutch loosely translates to sorcerer and Altwidus has Germanic elements of old and forest so I imagine his name means sorcerer of the old forest) is a mage/wizard Tortle. He’s a very powerful mage and he was raised in the forest. I imagine he grew up there and became buddies with all the wildlife and other forest dwellers around. So he’s known the forest all his life. When he’s around wildlife and lil animal buddies he knows he supper peaceful and appreciative of them he’s quiet but shows his appreciation and love through other ways he’s very grandpa-esq. However when foreigners from villages or towns come into his forest he is very skeptical of them and does not trust them at all. I feel like something happened when he was younger from people living outside of the forest and coming in and doing horrible stuff to his home so he doesn’t trust them anymore. So he’s super protective of his home and his animal buddies. So he’s very ill tempered around them and basically hates them. People know him for it and I think they know him in-town because he visits sometimes for magical items or books. He loves to read anything and loves to learn about magic itself even though he already knows a lot. So I imagine he has reading glasses around his neck 24/7 and always has a diary and spell book with him. And yeah that’s basically him he’s just an old man lol.

though if you don’t want to go through the entire playlist the first and second song is kind of the overall vibe
The sweeter and happier songs are when he's
peacefully hangin' with his animal friends and
the more dawning epic ones are when he's
performing magic or something

me just say, LISTEN TO HIS MUSIC!!!! he is
incredible he's an artist as well and makes A
TON of music on YouTube and Spotify he
literally releases albums and songs like every
month and their always so funky and amazing
(he's worked on a few cartoon shows as a
storyboard artist too he's super cool!!')
