Sneak peak
I am making 2 pieces for leimeispace for a upcoming show. I got bit of way to go. But this one them and also for BLM x AAPI. I am a black artist..but lot my bff are asain seeing everything going on this disheartening for me to say the less. Grew up around japantown as a kid knowing lot the people. My elementary school was primarily asain lot good memories, and having a Sega Genesis system which inspired me to become an artist in the first place. Even though I'm pretty sure the founders of Sega are somewhere in Tokyo love it and without that existing in my life I wouldn't even be where I am today.So pieces are you, despite what the news and propaganda might say you know that you are loved and appreciated. And together we stand strong.
